From the town to the countryside

Hiking trails around Feuchtwangen

The Feuchtwanger Land region with its forests and meadows, gentle hills and valleys with ponds and streams offers the perfect landscape for hiking.

Numerous hiking trails connect the districts and lead through the largely untouched nature to the left and right of the Sulzach Valley, where there is much to discover: six signposted circular hiking trails lead you along carp ponds through forests and fields. Some long-distance hiking trails (Romantic Road, Main-Danube-Weg with Feuchtwangen-Pappenheim interconnection and Roter Flieger) and pilgrimage routes (Via Romea and Jakobusweg from Ansbach to Oberdischingen) lead through the varied landscape.
