Interesting facts about the forest

Please note: Unfortunately, the dangerous caterpillars of the oak processionary moth have nested in our forest nature trail! The caterpillars' poisonous stinging hairs present a health hazard, which is why we currently advise against exploring this trail.

The approximately 2.5 km long trail starts at the Hochmeisterturnhalle car park and has 32 information panels along the route, which explain the functions of the forest through illustrations, pictures and information about native animals and tree species. Magnificent views of the landscape and rest benches invites you to discover the beauty of nature.
