Permanent exhibition

Franconian Museum Feuchtwangen

The Franconian Museum houses an impressive collection on the history and folklore of rural Middle Franconia. The exhibits range from the 17th to 19th century, when the region was under the rule of the Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach, followed by the Kingdom of Prussia for a few years, and then the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1806.

The permanent exhibition gives a vivid impression of the life of the people in Middle Franconia, which was shaped by the Protestant faith. The exhibition features an artistic display of everyday items from the era, from household objects to technical equipment, from folk costumes to home furnishings.
