The wild boar is considered a culinary delicacy, but unfortunately it also has a few unpleasant traits. In order to develop this wonderful quality of meat, the black bristly animals rummage through the local farmers’ fields and sometimes even household gardens in the villages. They can also cause serious traffic accidents on the road. For this reason, they are often hunted intensively by hunters. As a result, a large number of wild boars end up on consumers' plates, especially in winter.
Wild Boar Days is a combination of culinary delights, damage prevention of local fields and gardens and collision prevention on the road.
Join us on Wild Boar Days to find out more, and above all to enjoy yourself in the participating taverns in and around Feuchtwangen.
The highlight is a six-course InteRRegional gourmet tour through six Feuchtwangen taverns, which always takes place on Saturday evenings.
Wild Boar Days is organised by the Verein Artenreiches Land - Lebenswerte Stadt e.V. (Species-Rich Country - Liveable Town e.V.)
